Palm Crest Elementary School is located in the northwest foothills of La Cañada Flintridge. Palm Crest, which first opened in 1956, is one of three elementary schools in the La Cañada Unified School District. Almost 550 students are currently enrolled in the K-6 program. Palm Crest Elementary School is dedicated to the mission of providing a rich educational environment that challenges students to think critically, solve complex problems, express themselves articulately in oral and written language, and develop social and interpersonal skills to succeed in a diverse society. In addition, our school is committed to developing a high degree of self-esteem, a sense of accountability and responsibility, and a sense of belonging in each child.
