---------------------------------------- Don’t throw away your Electronic Devices Bring them to LCHS for Recycling! ---------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------- In 2012 LCHS collected over 50,000 lbs of eWaste ---------------------------------------- The LCHS Green Club & the LCHS Engineering Club are sponsoring a Community eWaste Collection Day to help save the environment from toxic waste... On Saturday morning, February 9th, 2013, LCHS will be accepting electronic waste (eWaste) from the community at no charge and will work with a specialized eWaste Recycling Company to have all of the discarded electronic waste processed for recycling. We are committed to the preservation of our environment by working on diverting all types of electronic waste from landfills & recycling used electronics in a safe, socially ethical and environmentally friendly process. From 8am until 12pm, the public is invited to drop off the following electronic items at the LCHS parking lot in front of the North Gym: - Computers / Notebooks / NetBooks - Monitors / LCDs / Projectors / LCDTVs - Printers / Faxes / Multifunction / Scanners - Big TVs / Stereo Equipment / VCRs / DVDs - Cell Phones / MP3 Players / iPhones / BB - Any Picture Cameras / Video Camcorders - Small Household Electric Appliances - Microwaves / Toasters / ... etc. Basically, any device that plugs to the wall or battery operated within the above examples. Proceeds from the recycled electronics, which is calculated according to the weight of all of the collected electronic items will go to benefit clubs and educational programs at LCHS.
