How Accelerated Reader works: Students are pre-tested to determine the book level ( Not Grade) at which they are the most comfortable. LCE has purchased Quizzes for many of the books in the Library, as well as the individual classrooms. Quizzes are purchased throughout the year to keep expanding our list to provide the students the opportunity to read as many books as they want. Students read a book on the list and then take a computer generated, multiple choice, quiz. Students are instantly given the feedback of how accurately they answered the questions.
