8. Main conflict in the book: The main conflict in the book is when best friends Hailey and Claire are going to get separated from each other in the summer. Claire has to move with her grandparents. So in the meanwhile, they try to spend as much time as possible with each other and have fun with their mermaid/human friend, Aquamarine.
9. Setting of the book: (place and time)
The main setting in the book is the Capri Beach as well as Claire’s room.
10. Main Characters and part they play in the book:
(1) Claire- She is a 12 year old that is Hailey’s best friend.
(2) Hailey- Hailey is also a 12 year old girl that is Claire’s best friend.
(3) Aquamarine- Aquamarine is a mermaid and human. She is human until 12:00am, but after that, she is a mermaid.
11. Are the characters believable and interesting?
Claire, Aquamarine, and Hailey are all believable in the story. They are also interesting, especially Aquamarine, a beautiful mermaid that magically changes from human to mermaid.

13. Good reasons to read the book:
Even if you don’t like fantasy books, this will truly be a perfect fantasy novel. It is also adventurous and is fabulous for all ages.
14. Any reasons not to read the book?
If you do not prefer fantasy books, then I suggest you to read a book in your favorite genre, or category. Also, if you don’t like a book with two teenage friends, hanging out at a beach everyday in the summer, and making new friends, I prefer you to read a different novel other than the book, Aquamarine.
Overall, this is a great book. It also is amazing that two girls always go to the Capri
