8. Main conflict in the book: After Artimis is stripped of his C Cube, a cube full of fairy technology, by Jon Spiro, Artimis travels to Chicago to face danger, peril, and a
miracle.

9. Setting of the book: (place and time) This book takes place in present day Knightsbridge, London, England, Ireland at the Fowl Manner, Haven City of the Lower Elements (a fairy town), and the a fictional "Spiro Needle" in Chicago.

10. Main Characters and part they play in the book:
(1)Artimis Fowl is the main character in this book, since the whole book follows his travels to Chicago, England, and Ireland.
(2) Another main character is Holly Short since she is always helping Artimis either retrieve the C Cube from the Spiro Needle or saving Artimis's life.

11. Are the characters believable and interesting? Most of the characters are believable since they're humans. But the fairies including Foaly, a centaur in the undergroud fairy world, Commander Root, another fairy, and Holly Short, an LEPrecon soldier who is always helping Artimis in his travels across the world.

13. Good reasons to read the book: This book is great because it really shows friendships that two enemies can make through hardship. I loved it because it also is action packed all throughout.

14. Any reasons not to read the book? Fortunately, there aren't any reasons not to read this book!

15. Did you like this book or not? And why…. I liked this book enormously because of the action-packed pages and the friendships that are developed throughout the book between the People, the fairies, and humans, even though the People and humans are not supposed to intermix.
