8. Main conflict in the book: Nickel tries to find out the secret that is hidden in the Beastly Arms, which is an apartment. Mr. Beastly hides the secret away from him very well though.
9. Setting of the book: (place and time) Nickel lives in the city during modern times.
10. Main Characters and part they play in the book:
(1) Nickel Dill is the first main character in the book. He tries to uncover the secret that Mr. Beastly has hidden for a long time.
(2) Julius Beastly, whose real name is Julius Beasley, owns the Beastly Arms. He was keeping a secret to himself for a long time. He owns the building that has something that intrigues Nickel.
11. Are the characters believable and interesting?
The characters are believable, only Inez, Nickel’s best friend, and Mr. Beastly are interesting.

You should read the book because there are some very interesting statements in the book.

You shouldn’t read the book because some of the parts are very boring and repetitive.

The book was okay. I didn’t really like that much because parts of the story was very boring. Not all of the parts of the story were very interesting.
