(1) John (good Djinn)
(2) Phillapa (good Djinn)
11. Are the characters believable and interesting?
No, they are not believable because they can turn objects invisible, they can turn into smoke, take somebody else’s body, or fly into a lamp. Yes, they are interesting because they have powers that can make them do anything they want.

It’s interesting, has no boring parts, and is definitely a page turner.

I loved this book because it relates to me a lot; I get cold often and wish I could have their power.
(If you are wondering why I said cold or anything else you don’t understand, it is related to the book… you will just have to read the book to find out why I said this!!)

The main conflict in the book has to do with an evil djinn (singular of genie).His name is Iblis and he is the most evil djinn in the world. He causes Philippa and John to have troubles on their journey and attempts to kill them many times. He is a huge pain to the children and their djinn-uncle Nimrod.

Egypt
10. Main Characters and part they play in the book:
(1) Philippa Gaunt: Philippa is a twelve-year-old girl who is a djinn. She is very clever and kind.
(2) John Gaunt: John is Philippa’s twin brother who is also a djinn. He goes on all of his adventures with his sister and does not do very well with his magical powers.
11. Are the characters believable and interesting?
The characters in this book are very believable, except for the fact that they have magical powers. They are definitely interesting characters to read and learn about.

There are many reasons to read this book. To begin, it is full of exciting adventures and mysteries. Also, it takes place in an exotic setting, Egypt. Lastly, the book is a fantasy and has genies using magical powers to do unbelievable things. It is a thrilling book to read. I definitely recommend it!

There are no reasons not to read this book. It is very well written and interesting.

This book was certainly one of my favorites. I especially like it because it is full of adventure and excitement. It also makes me use my imagination to think of fictional things. It was fun to read this book and learn about Ancient Egypt but still have a good time.
