7. Student rating of the book (1 the highest, 5 the lowest): 2

8. Main conflict in the book: Adrienne Lewis, a sixteen-year-old girl is in charge of eight-year-old-Emma, the youngest member of the rude Warner family. Adrienne was only supposed to baby-sit for 2 weeks in place for the other nanny, who still hasn’t arrived from England. Mrs. Warner decides to keep Adrienne as her permanent nanny. Adrienne is so excited except when she meets Emma’s beautiful seventeen-year-old half sister, Cameron, whose reputation as a wild girl, a liar, and a user is known to everyone.

9. Setting of the book: (place and time) December, New York

10. Main Characters and part they play in the book:
(1) Adrienne, a sixteen-year-old nanny
(2) Cameron, a seventeen-year-old brat from the Warner family

11. Are the characters believable and interesting? The characters are very believable and interesting because it’s based on the life today. People try to earn jobs and some turn out to be fantastic, and some turn out to be very irritating and snobby.

12. One excellent direct quotation from the book: (include who said it, page number, and use quotation marks!) “ Mrs. Warner asked me to stay for another month. They couldn’t get their nanny in time.” (pg.101) Adrienne stated it

13. Good reasons to read the book: This book is about drama, fashion, and love, so if someone likes reading books like this, it’s a great one for them. It’s very suspenseful, and very radiant. Overall, this book will make someone laugh, and will also make them be interested in fashion

14. Any reasons not to read the book? Some reasons not to read the book are that, it is very girly, and if someone isn’t into fashion and drama, then it may not be a good book for them. Also, at times in the book it became boring because of all the drama.

15. Did you like this book or not? And why…. I liked this book because I like fashion and the big New York commotion in the city. I also like the fact that Adrienne a hip 16-year-old girl, earns the opportunity to baby-sit the richest family in New York and finds out that having money is not all what life is about.
