Main conflict in the book: Life as a doll in a 6 year old girl’s room can be pretty difficult to live, but when you’re a doll you can be set anywhere.  As Annabelle discovers her families past, she realizes that her aunt as been missing for over a hundred years.  Annabelle had met another doll family in another room. As Annabelle and Tiffany try to find her aunt, will they make it?

9. Setting of the book: (place and time)

The most important setting is the Palmers house which includes Nora and Kate Palmers bedrooms.

10. Main Characters and part they play in the book:

 (1) Annabelle is a young 10 year old doll that is in a doll family in Nora’s bedroom

(2) Tiffany is a 10 year old doll that is in a doll family in Kate’s bedroom

11. Are the characters believable and interesting?

The characters in this book can be both.  This book cannot be believable because they are dolls and dolls cannot talk. On the other hand, they can be believable because they have the same exact emotions and actions as humans which is very interesting to see how in fantasy books, they are exactly like us.

12.  One excellent direct quotation from the book: (include who said it, page number, and Quotation marks!)

“Tiffany, I knew we could’ve done it! If we work hard at anything, we can achieve!” Annabelle said. (250)

13. Good reasons to read the book:

This book is a really good book to read because as kids, we don’t have that much adventure in our young lives, but a book has a whole universe of imagination.  This book has a lot of adventure because it is a story about dolls that could talk and how they actually have feelings and is a thriller to read about their own adventures so that this book can encourage others to do the same.  Which is to do whatever that their minds set them up to.  Another reason to read this book is because it is so exciting to read about a dolls adventure to face the dangers and face the wonders through a human’s house.  And to read how they overcome the challenges and make it to the top. I extremely recommend this book. I love it. And I know you will to.

14. Any reasons not to read the book?

Only one reason to not read this book is because kids like that are 7 years old or younger maybe believed in Santa clause or the tooth fairy?  SO it is really hard or easy for them to think that dolls can talk or that it’s hard for them to not think that they are dead.

Did you like this book or not? And why….

I personally loved this book because I love to read about mysteries. How there are so many stuff to uncover in life. And as a doll discovers something so heartbreaking, it’s really wondrous to read about a dolls adventure to solve that problem. If you like mysteries... HEY! It’s your type of book!
