It took place in present day time, in the United States, on the campus of a girls’ boarding school.
10. Main Characters and part they play in the book:
(1)Gilda Joyce: She is a teenage “psychic investigator” who solves the mystery of The Ladies of the
Lake.
(2)Dolores Lambert: The ghost lurking in the halls of the all girls private school, Our Lady of
Sorrows.
11. Are the characters believable and interesting?
The characters are believable, but very, very, suspiciously interesting and unusual.

“Keep your voice down around the dead.” This was said by Ms. Underhill, a very gothic and
disturbing assistant to Mrs. McCracken, the head mistress in the Preface.
13. Good reasons to read the book:
It is really suspenseful, plus, personally, I love mystery, so this book was great for me.
14. Any reasons not to read the book?
None other than if you don’t like mystery, then don’t read it. Other than that it was fantastic.
15. Did you like this book or not? And why….
I LOVED IT!!!! First of all because I love mystery. But most importantly because it was
entertaining and fun to read.
