Staff and Students

  1. PLEASE CHECK THE BULLETIN ON-LINE EACH DAY FOR ANY CHANGES OR UPDATED INFORMATION.
  2. Y.E.S. Office (Youth Employment Service) is now up and running. Wendy Siegler is in the SSMRC and her hours are 12:00 - 3:30 p.m., Monday - Friday.
  3. The Textbook room is open every day from 7:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Please do not wait until after school to check in/out books. Thank you!
  4. The Student Store is open on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, from 10:00 to 1:00 p.m. On Wednesday and Thursday, the store is open from 9:30 to 12:45 p.m.
  5. All lost and found items located in the textbook room will be donated to charity if not claimed by Friday, 10/31/08.
  6. CSF applications are due on Halloween. Pikck up and drop off applications in the SSMRC.

     

9-12 Students

  • Applications are now available in the main office for the Miss La Canada Flintridge contest. These tryouts are for all junior girls interested in being Miss La Canada and her court. Application deadline is on October 31st.
  • Any students interested in signing up for the Y.E.S. program, please be sure to see Mrs. Siegler in the SSMRC to see what jobs have been posted. Many different jobs are available: tutoring, babysitting, life-guarding, pet-sitting, home care (vacation), etc....
  • Reflections Contest is back! PTA Fine Arts Competition Program... has officially opened. This is an opportunity for creative LCHS students to create original works in literature, visual arts, photography, music, composition, video production, or dance choreography and submit them for judging and prizes. Generous prizes will be awarded to the top 4 LCHS winners in each category. This year's theme is "WOW!" All works must reflect this theme in some way. Students may submit multiple entries in multiple categories. The dealine is Monday, December 1, and can be handed in at the school office. An official entry form must be filled out completely and attached to every entry. Please check the specific guidelines for each category. There are strict sizes and format specifications which must be followed. Official entry forms and category rules and guidelines are available in the school office. Please contact Christie Frandsen if you have any questions. Thank you and have fun creating.
  • National Honor Society: New member applications are now available in the SSMRC. Existing members need to pay their annual dues of $5.00. Deadline is Friday before Winter Break.

7-8 Students

  • If you have lost your ID card, you may now get it replaced. The cost is $5 for lost cards. You may also come and purchase ASB cards and yearbooks at break and lunch ONLY! Please see Mrs. De La Cruz in the main office.
  • 7/8 Students who would like to decorate the football bleachers for the Turkey Bowl on Friday, need to meet in Mrs. Skalla's room 731, at break on Wednesday, November 19th!
