Student Activities

ASB 9/12

The 9/12 Associated Student Body plans and coordinates many activities for the students in grades 9 through 12 at LCHS.

ASB 7/8

The 7/8 Associated Student body plans and coordinates many activities for the students in grades 7 through 8 at LCHS.

Athletics

The athletic program at LCHS is organized around the fall, winter and spring seasons.

Fall - Football, Cross Country, Water Polo, Girls Volleyball, and Girls Tennis.
Winter - Boys/Girls Basketball, Boys/Girls Soccer, Girls Water polo, and Wrestling
Spring - Baseball, Softball, Boys/Girls Swimming, Boys/Girls Track, Golf, Boys Volleyball, and Boys Tennis.

Pep Squad

The Squad includes Frosh, Junior Varsity, Flags, and Songs.
These four groups provide the leadship for supporting the many student teams by attending games, planning and performing at Pep Assemblies and helping with special school events.

Band/Orchestra

Besides Marching Band, Orchestra, and Concert Band, students are able to participate in the Jazz Band, Drum Line, Brass Quintet, Flute Quartet, and Sax Quartet.

Choral

The choral groups include Concert Choir,, Chamber Singers, and the Women's Ensemble.

Drama

There many drama opportunities that range from regular drama classes to the school play, Comedy Sportz, and Dinner Theatre.

21st Century Institutes

Students have the opportunity to participate in activities that are not part of the regular curriculum. The institutes offer students to meet with people who are working in their field of interest.

Clubs

There are many clubs on campus that are available to students and are sponsored by interested faculty members. Clubs can be formed by student initiative or by faculty initiative.
