La Canada Flintridge Educational Foundation
The primary purpose of the LCFEF is to assist in the achievement and maintenance of a superior public education system within the La Canada Unified School District by receiving contributions from the public and making contributions to the District, and by financing programs and projects designed to benefit the children enrolled in its schools.
The LCFEF is run by volunteers in the community. School parents and community members like yourself who commit their time and resources to ensuring the quality of our District.
The LCFEF raises money throughout the school year and provides a gift to the District at the start of the following school year in the amount of all net funds raised by the Annual Fund. Funds are raised through direct donations and special events. Since its inception, the foundation has contributed more than $15 million to the District.
Programs and services that the foundation has helped to fund include:
- Class Size Reduction
- Counselors
- Fine Arts
- Grants
- Elementary Spanish
- Librarian
- Technology
