May 1, 2013:
Students, today is the deadline for you to submit your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) to college you choose to attend next year.  Choose wisely as this is a very life-changing moment.
 



 
April 8, 2013:
School Counselors will begin individual pre-registration appointments with all students to discuss classes for next year. Students will meet in the IRC with their English class and meet one-on-one with a School Counselor.



 
February 25, 2013:
School Counselors will begin classroom presentations about LCHS graduation requirements, college admission requirements, and registration for classes next year.

December 3, 2012:
 
This week, LCHS welcomes a new part-time Regional Occupational Program (ROP) Counselor, Mrs. Claire Zee, to the Counseling Department.  Mrs. Zee will be assisting students with career exploration, ROP course selection, and so much more.  Please provide a warm welcome to our newest Counselor on the team, Mrs. Zee!
 


 
August 2012:
 
The Counseling Department has been restructured this year
to optimize our services to students and families.
All of our School Counselors will cover a full range of
academic, college, career, personal/social counseling services. 
 
 Mrs. Basmajian, Mr. Escobar, and Mrs. Spangler
will work with 11th and 12th grade students.

Mrs. Matchie will work with all 10th grade students.

Mrs. Dunn will work with all 9th grade students.
 
Services will be provided to students as follows:
 
Mrs. Spangler: A – G, 11th/12th Grades
Mr. Escobar: H – M, 11th/12th Grades
Mrs. Basmajian: N – Z, 11th/12th Grades
Mrs. Matchie: All 10th Grade
Mrs. Dunn: All 9th Grade
 
Please direct all questions to the appropriate School Counselor
given this new organizational structure in the Counseling Department.
