Caroline Que Anderson

Caroline Que Anderson was elected to the La Cañada Unified School District Board of Education in 2020. She is the first Asian American woman to serve on the board. She and her husband are parents to two current La Cañada High students. Caroline is a native of La Cañada Flintridge, having moved up to the Sage Brush area of La Cañada Flintridge from Glendale when she started middle school.  
 
Bringing her grassroots energy to policy decisions that best advance the interests of all students, Caroline has been an active parent volunteer at all levels, from elementary through high school, serving in leadership roles with the PTA, PTSA, and at the PTA Council level, including being President at Palm Crest Elementary School. She served six years as a Director of the La Cañada Flintridge Educational Foundation, including one year as President where she raised over $2 million dollars annually. She has served on numerous District Committees (LCAP, Wellness, Diversity Equity Inclusion), as well as worked on the successful passage of the 2020 Measure LC Parcel Tax and the 2017 Measure LCF Bond. Caroline is a dedicated volunteer not just to the school district but also to her community. Caroline is on the Executive Board of the La Cañada Flintridge Tournament of Roses, Kiwanis Club of La Cañada, La Cañada Sister Cities Association, as well as being a member of the La Cañada Junior Women's Club, La Cañada Flintridge Chinese Club, and is an Ambassador for the La Cañada Flintridge Chamber of Commerce.
 
Prior to being elected, Caroline was a Human Resources Manager for a single-family wealth manager in Downtown LA.
