Welcome to the LCUSD wifi page.
Visiting our campus? Please use the LCUSD Guests network. This network has our highest level of content filtering as it is our only network with a public password and potentially accessible to younger students.
Network: LCUSD Guests
Password: lcusdwifi
For students and staff devices, please visit the help lab on school days between the hours of 7am and 4pm and a Technology Department member will set you up on the appropriate network.
*For the safety of our students and staff we decrypt search queries for the following SSL sites: google.com, bing.com, yahoo.com, and youtube.com. To view these sites on any of our networks you must download and install the SSL certificate located below.
For Chromebooks:
To install the certificate on a Chromebook, log in to the Chromebook then navigate to the
LCUSD wifi page. Download the certificate above.
Open a new tab and navigate to
chrome://settings/certificates. Select Authorities, then import the certificate you previously downloaded. After you install the certificate open another tab and navigate to
https://www.google.com. A window may pop up saying that your connection isn't private. That is correct, the filtering tool is monitoring search queries.
*The filtering tool and certificate only function on LCUSD networks, not at home. Even though the certificate is installed on your device, your search traffic is not monitored when you are off of LCUSD networks.
