Lindi Dreibelbis became Chief Director in 2013. She previously served LCUSD as Director, promoted to the district office in 2002 from LCHS where she had served as Associate and Assistant Principal for four years. Prior to joining La Canada, she was Assistant Principal at Wilson Middle School and French teacher at Pasadena High School, both in Pasadena Unified School District. She also was a French and history teacher for seven years in New Mexico before to coming to California.
Ms. Dreibelbis most recently received recognition from the California Department of Education for data management and stewardship. She served as LCUSD’s representative to the Region XV Chapter of the Association of California School Administrators for 10 years. She also was invited to represent LCUSD in both Korea and China on two select educational programs. During her teaching days, she chaperoned four student trips to France, was offered two Fulbright teacher exchange positions and received one of five national scholarships for French teachers all over the world from the Alliance Francaise.
Ms. Dreibelbis was born in Pennsylvania. Later, her mother’s marriage to a Navy officer allowed her to travel and live around the globe. Making her home now in La Canada, she is most proud of her work and her children. Daughter, Kelly Arthur, graduated from LCHS in 2010 and son, Grant Arthur, will graduate in 2016. She also enjoys home remodeling, singing and baking.
