Brief Description of Position: La Cañada Unified School District has an opening in school year 2021-22 for a part-time school psychologist at the elementary level. This part-time assignment at 0.6 FTE (60%) will be offered on a temporary contract, extending to the last workday of 2021-22, which is June 10, 2022.

Qualifications:
1. Credential: Valid California Pupil Personnel Services credential authorizing school psychologist services. Preferred: Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential.
2. Education: Master’s degree in school psychology.

Work Year: This is a part-time position at 0.6 FTE (60%) through June 10, 2022. The selected candidate will be asked to start immediately upon clearance of background and TB checks. Workdays and/or work hours per day may be flexible, based on the needs of the school site.
Benefits
Salary: Placement on the certificated salary schedule is dependent on education and years of employment in a public school district. No cap on years for public school experience. The starting monthly salary range for a 60% school psychologist is $4,229.62 to $6,361.49, corresponding to $255.05 to $383.61 per day.

Benefits: This position is eligible to participate in the District’s medical benefit plans. Currently the District’s maximum contribution to an employee’s benefits package is $15,930 per year. Premiums for a part-time employee are prorated based on the employee’s full-time equivalent (FTE) percentage.
