Survey on Spectrum Connection Needs: LCUSD Gathering Data to Present at City Council Subcommitte

We know that having a reliable internet connection is especially critical for families right now, and we are aware of the ongoing challenges some homes are facing in this regard. While the quality of internet service in the community isn’t directly within LCUSD’s control, we continue to look for ways to help support your access to a stable connection. 


One way is by working with Spectrum, the local internet provider, to help them better understand the scope and nature of the issues families are experiencing. 


That’s why we’re asking you to use this very brief form to let us know whenever you’ve encountered a problem with your connectivity.


Your feedback can help us direct Spectrum towards necessary infrastructure updates, so it is very valuable!


You should continue to make outage and other reports directly to Spectrum, as this form will not be used to help with real-time troubleshooting. Rather, this data will help us amplify your concerns, and better inform our advocacy on behalf of the community.


Finally, you may also want to reach out to Spectrum to inquire about an upgrade to your modem and/or router. This hardware sometimes needs updating more frequently than you’d expect and they come at no additional cost to Spectrum customers.
