Application for Parcel Tax Exemption
Parcel Tax Exemption applications for the 2024 tax year are no longer being accepted. Parcel Tax Exemption applications for the 2025 tax year will become available on March 1, 2025, and will be accepted through June 30, 2025.

*If mailing application, it must postmarked no later than June 30, 2025.
*Once an applicant's exemption request is approved, no future applications are required in subsequent years.
Parcel Tax Exemption Qualifications:
To qualify for the Parcel Tax senior exemption, applicants must:
- Turn 65 years old before July 1 of the application year
- Own and occupy their property as their principal residence
To qualify for the Parcel Tax Contiguous exemption, applicants must:
- Own the contiguous parcels under identical legal ownership
- Make actual use of all the contiguous parcels as one residential or non-residential economic unit
To qualify for the SSDI Parcel exemption, applicants must:
- Own and occupy their property as their principal residence--rental and second properties are not eligible for SSDI tax exemption
- Furnishing written proof with the application that the applicant is receiving Social Security Disability Insurance (“SSDI”) benefits and providing certification that the applicant’s yearly income does not exceed 250 percent of the 2012 federal poverty guidelines
The form(s) to use in applying for either the senior citizen, single use (contiguous parcel), or SSDI parcel tax exemption will be available for download on March 1, 2025.
