Welcome to the LCUSD Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) Elementary Program. GATE-identified students in 4th-6th grade are pulled out of a non-academic part of their school day to attend this weekly 45 minute enrichment class. For the 2021-2022 school year, the program is expected to take place in-person, depending on LACDPH guidelines for maintaining safe and stable cohorts of students. All lessons are standards-aligned and include the elements of a differentiated GATE curriculum: acceleration, depth, complexity, and novelty.
Thank you for your interest and participation,
