Elementary GATE Pull-Out Program

Dear Families,
 
Welcome to the LCUSD Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) Elementary Program. GATE-identified students in 4th-6th grade are pulled out of a non-academic part of their school day to attend this weekly 45-minute enrichment class. All lessons are standards-aligned and include the elements of a differentiated GATE curriculum: acceleration, depth, complexity, and novelty. Click here to learn about Mrs. Banta's GATE Program.
