If your child currently attends LCUSD on a permit please see our Re-Verification page. You do not need to reapply!

For current families living in the Sagebrush area, you may now enroll as a resident. Please see our Resident Enrollment page.

For non-residents, we offer the following permit applications, from March to April:

LCUSD Employee	Parent works for the La Canada Unified School District, working a minimum of 10 hours per week	Printed & signed application Student's most recent report card/transcript The District Office will confirm your employment and working hours with HR
Legacy	Grandparent is residing within the LCUSD boundaries for 8+ years	Printed & signed application Student's most recent report card/transcript Grandparent's Proof of Residency Proof of legal relation (birth certificates are most acceptable)
Allen Bill (Full & Part-Time)	Parent is physically working within the LCUSD boundaries, either full-time (32+ hours/week) or part-time (16+ hours/week)	Printed & signed application Student's most recent report card/transcript Letter from Employer (on company letterhead) Most recent paystub OR if parent owns a business Fully executed lease Three bills addressed to the company Business license registered to the city of La Canada

Should you be selected in the lottery, steps 4 through 6 will become available starting June 2026:

Step 4: The next steps is for those that have received confirmation from the district that their student will be attending LCUSD for the 2026-27 school year. You must create an Aeries account, complete the online student enrollment process, then print and sign the enrollment form.

Step 5: Information on how to make an appointment to submit the completed documentation and printed confirmation from the Aeries Online Registration platform will be sent to you. Documents can vary depending on grade level.

Step 6: Once document submission is complete, you will be given general school site information and class placement. This information will be shared before school starts.
