Inter-District Release
An Inter-District Release is when a student wants to leave their school district of residence to attend a school in another district.
- Reasons for Inter-District Release are: Programs offered at other districts that are not available in LCUSD or the student has Senior Status (12th Grade).
- The Superintendent, or designee, retains the right to review requests for transfer annually and to revoke any such transfer should the original grounds supporting the transfer change.
- If the Superintendent, or designee, approves an Inter-District release, the parent/guardian will receive notice of the acceptance and of their responsibility to transport their student.
