Prerequisite: Recommended Grade of B or higher in Pre-Calculus Honors or LC Math 3 Advanced and teacher recommendation.
Daily Homework: 45 minutes or more
Calculus BC is equivalent to the first two semesters of college calculus. Students will be prepared to take the Advanced Placement test in Calculus BC. The main topics of study are limits, derivatives, integrals, and series. Students will analyze rectangular, polar, and parametric functions. Graphing calculators (TI-83, 83+, or 84) are strongly recommended as graphing calculators are required for the AP exam.
